Commissioning I&C Engineer

Work Location : Al Dhafrah, Abu Dhabi

Responsibility

- Supervise / conduct hot look checks, protection checks and functional testing of all plant and combustion turbine power systems
- Assist as required during the performance testing and reliability testing periods
- Responsible authority for all I&C system permit to work (PTW) and LOTO coordination on daily basis
- Turbine control system, PLC and DCS interface verification activities
- Turbine protection system check, interlock verification, permissive check
- Communication checks and signal interface verification between gas turbine systems and plant DCS systems
Requirement:
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical degree with additional related experience
- 10 yrs power plant, I&C system commissioning, start up and operating experience with minimum of 7 yrs combustion -turbine, simple / combined cycle power plant, I&C commissioning start up and operating experience
- Extensive experience in testing, tuning, calibrating and troubleshooting control systems
- Completed at least 2 - 3 Middle East power plant projects
