Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Static Engineer to support upstream Oil & Gas operations, with a strong focus on equipment reliability, integrity, troubleshooting, and maintenance engineering.
💼 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement reliability, maintenance, and operational strategies for static mechanical equipment and facilities.
• Provide technical solutions for equipment and facility-related issues in compliance with applicable engineering standards, statutory requirements, and HSE requirements.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), defect elimination, and bad-actor management initiatives to improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategy reviews and reliability improvement programs.
• Support the optimization of static equipment through benchmarking, best practices, and appropriate technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and engineering solutions to improve reliability and optimize costs.
• Provide technical support for onshore and offshore projects, including conceptual and detailed design activities.
📋 REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in upstream Oil & Gas.
• Experience in static equipment, piping, mechanical packages, reliability, or maintenance engineering.
• Onshore/offshore project experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, equipment integrity, and HSE requirements.
