🚀 Hot Expat Position – FPSO Project (China and Angola Base)
Looking for an experienced FPSO Offshore Installation Manager (or Package Manager) to join a large FPSO project in China
🕒 5 days/week | 8 hours/day

🚀Location：Yantai. China / Angola
🚀Job Description
Overall management of systems within the offshore installation scope for the FPSO project, including planning phase and execution phase:
I. Planning Phase (Location: Yantai / Online, Period: Present-Dec 2026)
1. Preparation for third-party services related to offshore installation;
2. Generate offshore installation method and plan (e.g. suction pile prefabrication, FPSO towing FPSO offshore hookup, etc.);
3. Liaise with the Owner to clarify the technical plan and commercial issues， and get final approval；
4. Identify and assess risks during the planning phase, and take measures to control risks.
II. Execution Phase (Location: Angola, Period: Dec 2027-Mar 2028, Aug 2028- Jan 2029)
1. Onsite and progress management for mechanical completion and pre-commissioning of relevant offshore systems during FPSO construction phase;
2. Suction Piles fabrication support;
3. Onsite management of progress, safety, quality and other activities during offshore installation of mooring suction anchors;
4. Offshore hookup between subsea systems (Riser, Umbilical, etc.) and FPSO;
5. Organize meetings, communicate with ship Owner, classification society, third-party and subcontractors to resolve clarifications and site issues;
6. Identify and assess risks during the execution phase, and take measures to control risks;
7. Various orders management.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Ocean Engineering, Oil & Gas, Marine Engineering or other related engineering disciplines;
2. Minimum 10year working experience in the offshore oil & gas industry, with no less than 5years of onsite management experience in FPSO offshore installation / hookup activities; at least 12 full cycle FPSO offshore installation projects experience;
3. Familiar with high-risk offshore operations; capable of organizing review construction plans and risk assessments for offshore lifting, subsea operations, towing, SIMOPS and other activities;
4. Well-versed in offshore hook up requirement and standards, such as ABS rules, and local regulations of Angola;
5. Necessary certificates for offshore activities;
6. Proficient in written and spoken English; willing to work overseas and stay offshore
