📢 Position Details:
Role: Telecom Engineer
Location: UAE (candidates 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗔𝗘)
Contract Duration: 5 months
Rate: USD 4,100 per month (fixed)
Project Scope: Brownfield/live electrical substations involving site surveys and design support activities
Requirements:
✅ Approximately 10+ years of telecommunications engineering experience
✅ Experience working on electrical substations, preferably GIS/AIS, transmission, distribution, or other high-voltage projects
✅ Sound understanding of industrial communication networks and utility telecom systems
✅ Experience with WAN/LAN architectures and secure communication systems
Strong knowledge of:
MPLS, IP Networking, VLANs, Routing & Switching, Firewalls, VPN Technologies, Wireless Communication (4G/5G)
Familiarity with telecom integration for SCADA, OT, and critical infrastructure environment

Project Scope:
The role will support the initial phase of the project, including:
Site surveys at existing substations
Defining telecommunications requirements
Developing secure communication network designs
Supporting telecom infrastructure implementation for utility and substation environments
