🚨 Hiring: Cost Control Lead | Oil & Gas Project | Qatar 🇶🇦

📍 Location: Qatar
We are currently supporting a major Oil & Gas / Energy project and are looking for an experienced Cost Control Lead to join a high-performing project team.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost estimating, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, allocation and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain Project Cost Control procedures, guidelines, workflows and governance processes.
• Manage and maintain WBS, CBS, cost coding structures, cost databases, labour-hours information and benchmarking data.
• Review project budgets, cost plans, assumptions and forecast data to ensure alignment with approved funding.
• Prepare and coordinate Advance Commitments (ACs), Full Funding (FF) and Supplementary Funding requests.
• Develop and maintain project cost forecasts and Work Program & Budget (WP&B) submissions.
• Monitor and reconcile contractor cost reports, invoices, commitments and accruals.
• Review VOWD reporting, Trend Management and Earned Value Analysis (EVA) deliverables.

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years' experience, including 4 years within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience supporting major projects from an Owner's perspective.
• Proven experience managing EPC Contracts (preferably Reimbursable and Lump Sum contracts).
• Strong background in Cost Control, Cost Estimating, Forecasting, Budgeting, Risk Management and Change Management.
• Experience with SAP, dashboards, data analytics and project reporting tools.
• Capable of performing Cost Estimation (Class 1-5) and project cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
