Job Description
We are urgently looking for an experienced Senior Safety Officer / HSE professional with strong Oil & Gas experience, including Offshore/Subsea operations and EPC/EPCm projects.
Normal Working Days : 6 days per week
Work Location : Doha & Ras Laffan

Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, Science, LPE, or related discipline
NEBOSH or equivalent professional safety certification
Minimum 10 years’ Oil & Gas HSE experience
Minimum 8 years’ supervisory experience in Health & Safety management
Strong experience in EPC/EPCm contracts
Offshore/Subsea working knowledge MUST
Strong knowledge of O&G safe work practices and HSE regulations
Knowledge of OSHA, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis or internationally recognized equivalent
OPITO BOSIET / T-HUET and Offshore Sea Survival
Knowledge of offshore lifting operations and requirements
Working knowledge of BS EN 12811-1:2003, SG4:15 and NASC TG20:13
H2S Awareness
Knowledge of IOGP reports and guidelines
Experience with Behavioral Based Safety / IIF Safety programs
Immediate availability / short notice candidates are highly preferred.
