Job Description
I’m supporting a leading international offshore engineering and construction contractor with the appointment of an experienced E&I Supervisor for Preservation for a major vessel conversion project in Turkey.
The project involves converting an existing vessel into a Floating Production Unit, with the initial phase based in a shipyard before progressing offshore later in the project.
This is a specialist E&I supervisory role focused on ensuring electrical and instrumentation equipment is correctly preserved, protected, inspected and maintained throughout construction, installation and pre-commissioning.
The role will involve:
• Supervising E&I preservation activities across electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Ensuring equipment is stored and maintained in line with project and vendor requirements
• Monitoring preservation throughout construction, installation and pre-commissioning
• Coordinating inspections, preservation routines and equipment checks
• Maintaining preservation registers, inspection records and documentation
• Identifying deficiencies or non-conformities and coordinating corrective action
• Maintaining preservation requirements through to handover and commissioning
• Coordinating with construction, commissioning, QA/QC, warehouse and vendors
• Ensuring activities meet project quality and HSE requirements
I’m particularly interested in candidates with:
• E&I Supervisor, Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor or E&I Preservation Supervisor experience
• Strong E&I experience within offshore, marine, oil and gas or EPC / EPCI projects
• Proven preservation responsibility during construction, pre-commissioning or commissioning
• Experience with electrical equipment, instrumentation, panels, motors, junction boxes and cabling
• Knowledge of vendor preservation requirements and documentation
• Shipyard, FPSO, FPU, offshore construction or vessel conversion experience
• Strong supervisory and coordination capability
• Good English communication skills
Due to mobilisation and visa lead times, European candidates are particularly encouraged to apply, although suitable UK candidates will also be considered.
The initial phase will be shore-based in Turkey, with accommodation and meals provided, before transitioning offshore.
