Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to join our team for Road & Infrastructure Projects in Sharjah, UAE.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with extensive UAE infrastructure project experience and strong knowledge of Sharjah Municipality, Etihad Rail, and RTA requirements.

📍 Project Type: Road & Infrastructure Projects
📍 Location: Sharjah, UAE
📍 Assignment Duration: Minimum 12 Months
Key Requirements
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
✔ UAE Engineering Equivalency Certificate (Mandatory)
✔ 12–15 years of relevant HSE experience
✔ Proven experience on UAE Roads & Infrastructure projects
✔ Previous Consultancy experience (Mandatory)
✔ Strong knowledge of Sharjah City, Etihad Rail, and RTA standards, regulations, and approval processes
✔ Experience in Civil Engineering projects involving roads, utilities, and infrastructure
✔ Practical experience with structural works on road and infrastructure projects
✔ Well-versed in Traffic Diversion Plans (TDP), Traffic Management Plans (TMP), road closures, and detours as per RTA requirements
✔ Strong understanding of UAE HSE legislation, risk assessments, incident investigations, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Key Responsibilities
✅ Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and UAE regulations
✅ Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
✅ Monitor contractor HSE performance and implement corrective actions
✅ Ensure the safe execution of road, utility, and demolition activities
✅ Coordinate with ITC and relevant authorities for traffic management and diversion approvals
✅ Prepare HSE reports, incident investigations, and project documentation
✅ Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across the project
