Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the PMC team for a major ADNOC offshore oil and gas project. The role will support project execution, interface management, contractor follow-up, progress monitoring, technical coordination, and delivery of offshore EPC scope from engineering through procurement, fabrication, offshore construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the PMC Project Manager in managing EPC contractor performance across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate with ADNOC, PMC disciplines, EPC contractor, vendors, operations, construction, commissioning and planning teams.
- Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and follow up recovery actions with the contractor.
- Review contractor deliverables, reports, action trackers, interface registers, risk registers and lookahead plans.
- Lead coordination on project issues, technical clarifications, site queries, change impacts and execution constraints.
- Support offshore brownfield readiness, SIMOPS planning, tie-in preparation, shutdown coordination and construction readiness.
- Ensure project execution is aligned with contract requirements, ADNOC standards, HSE, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
- Prepare management updates, briefing notes, MOMs, action trackers and escalation notes when required.
- Support commissioning readiness, mechanical completion, punch closure, RFSU/RFC processes and handover to Operations.
Required Experience
- Minimum 12–15 years of oil and gas project experience, preferably with offshore EPC / PMC projects.
- Strong experience in offshore platforms, brownfield works, hook-up, tie-ins, construction, commissioning and project delivery.
- Previous ADNOC / GCC offshore project experience is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of EPC project lifecycle, engineering deliverables, procurement tracking, fabrication progress, offshore execution and commissioning readiness.
- Strong coordination, reporting, interface management and contractor management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving project environment and escalate issues clearly to management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
