Job Opening: STP Operation & Maintenance Engineer | UAE

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Operation & Maintenance Engineer – STP to join our team.

Position: O&M Engineer – STP

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in STP Operation & Maintenance in the UAE / Middle East
- Experience in STPs with capacity above 5,000 CMD is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily operation and monitoring of STP systems
- Ensure treated effluent meets authority discharge/reuse standards
- Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot operational issues
- Coordinate routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance
- Support commissioning and performance testing when required
- Supervise operators and technicians - Prepare basic operation and compliance reports
- Conduct site surveys for O&M projects and assess plant condition and operational requirements
- Prepare site survey reports, O&M scope, and cost calculations / O&M cost estimates
- Follow HSE and site safety requirements at all times

Technical Knowledge:

- Familiar with common STP processes (ASP, MBBR, MBR)
- Professional knowledge of pumps, blowers, diffusers, and chemical dosing systems
- Able to operate and monitor PLC / SCADA systems
