About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced, resilient, and safety-driven Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to lead operations on our FPSO asset in the Mumbai High field. As the ultimate authority onboard, you will hold regulatory and operational responsibility for the safety of all personnel, environmental protection, and production optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Ultimate Onboard Authority: Act as the legal and operational head of the FPSO, holding final decision-making power for safety, production, and marine operations.

Safety & Compliance: Champion a zero-harm safety culture. Ensure absolute compliance with international maritime laws, DG Shipping/OISD regulations, and environmental standards.

Production Optimization: Oversee daily oil and gas production, processing, storage, and offloading operations to meet targets efficiently and safely.

Emergency Response: Lead the Onboard Emergency Response Team as the Incident Commander, managing all critical situations, drills, and evacuation protocols.

Asset Integrity: Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and marine departments to ensure high uptime and long-term reliability of the asset.

Leadership & Culture: Manage crew welfare, competency assessments, and rotation schedules, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment offshore.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a Master Mariner (Class 1) Certificate of Competency.

Experience: 12+ years in offshore oil and gas, with at least 3–5 years of direct experience as an OIM or Deputy OIM on an FPSO or major floating production asset.

Region Specific: Prior experience operating in Indian waters (specifically Mumbai High or the Krishna Godavari Basin) and familiarity with Indian regulatory bodies (OISD, DGH, MMD) is highly preferred.

Certifications: Valid OIM License/Endorsement, OPITO-approved HUET/BOSIET, and MEMIR (Managing Emergency Response for Offshore Installation Managers).

Key Skills: Strong crisis management, decisive leadership under pressure, deep technical knowledge of hydrocarbon processing, and excellent communication skills.
