Location: Qatar | Onshore/Offshore | Oil & Gas Projects
Mekdam Technical Services is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector with a strong background in materials inspection for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
Key Requirements:
✅ Minimum HND or Diploma in Mechanical/Materials Engineering.
✅ Minimum 10 years of experience as a Materials QC Inspector in Oil & Gas projects, including at least 5 years in offshore projects.
✅ Experience covering pre-fabrication, installation and construction activities.
✅ Incoming materials inspection across structural, piping, pipeline, architectural and mechanical disciplines.
✅ Experience with carbon steel, SS, DSS, Monel, Inconel, CRA, GRE/GRP and CuNi.
✅ Knowledge of material certification requirements, including BS EN 10204, and relevant API, ASME, ASTM, EN, Shell DEP, NACE and ISO codes.
✅ Experience reviewing MTCs, material receiving reports, ITPs, inspection release notes and Manufacturer Record Books.
✅ Familiarity with PMI, hardness testing, material traceability, preservation and non-conformance reporting.
Added Advantages:
• AWS CWI, CSWIP 3.1 or an approved equivalent certification.
• ASNT Level II NDT certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
