Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead (Structural) to lead structural engineering activities across major offshore projects, from Conceptual Studies and FEED through EPCI execution, construction, installation, and final handover.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and review structural engineering deliverables, including design basis, specifications, and structural analyses (in-place, fatigue, seismic, transportation, loadout, and installation assessments).
✅ Provide technical leadership and SME-level guidance to engineering teams and contractors.
✅ Review and verify designs developed by contractors, consultants, and third parties, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards.
✅ Manage structural engineering interfaces with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
✅ Review and approve engineering deliverables, material requisitions, and purchase orders.
✅ Support project planning, scheduling, risk management, commissioning, handover, and offshore installation activities.
Requirements:
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
✔ Minimum 8 years of engineering experience
✔ Minimum 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry
✔ Previous experience in a Structural Lead role on major offshore capital projects
✔ Strong knowledge of:
* Offshore structural engineering design
* International engineering standards and specifications
* FEED, EPC/EPCI and project execution processes
* Risk, interface, and contractor management
✔ Experience managing contractors and vendors throughout project phases, ideally from FEED to Start-up
✔ Experience with:
* Large offshore platforms and pipelines; and/or
* Sour gas and LNG facilities
✔ Willingness to travel offshore as required
✔ Valid offshore certifications preferred:
* T-BOSIET
* H₂S
